The Ethicon MERSILENE® Non-Absorbable Surgical Suture (Product Code: R633H) is a braided polyester fiber suture composed of poly (ethylene terephthalate), designed for long-term tissue support where non-absorbable sutures are required.

MERSILENE® sutures are engineered to provide precise and consistent tension control, making them suitable for general soft tissue approximation and ligation procedures. The braided construction enhances handling characteristics and knot security, while maintaining reliable tensile strength.

This configuration features a Reverse Cutting FS-2 needle (19 mm, 3/8 circle), designed to penetrate tougher tissue while minimizing tissue trauma and maintaining control during placement. The white braided material allows for clear visualization during suturing.
