Covidien GS-63-M Sofsilk™ Silk Suture is a non-absorbable braided silk suture made from silk fibers derived from the Bombyx mori silkworm. These fibers are processed to remove sericin gum and are braided and coated uniformly with beeswax for enhanced handling and knot security. The GS-63-M suture features a V-20 Taper Point needle with D-TACH™ detachment for easy needle removal.
